Mr. Holland is founder and President of Heartland Capital Group, Inc. He has been actively involved in investment banking since 1987 and has primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions since 1993. His experience includes personally initiating, structuring, negotiating and closing mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in the middle market. Mr. Holland has also arranged private placements of debt and equity.

Mr. Holland co-founded Heartland Oil and Gas Company, a Denver-based oil and gas exploration and production company where he initiated, structured, and completed numerous private capital placements. He is a principal shareholder and continues to serve as a director of Heartland Oil and Gas Company. Mr. Holland also serves as a director of Handera Inc., and Minneapolis NEXT.

He is also involved in community activities. Mr. Holland co-founded and serves as President of MinneapolisNEXT, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing scholarships and life enhancing experiences for local youth.

Mr. Holland graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance.
